Film on Friday is committed to the protection of your privacy. No information collected by us from you will be sold, rented or loaned, unless consented by you.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 all personal information given to us will be held and used with care and in accordance with this policy.

Use of information
Film on Friday will not collect any personal information about you, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by you.

While Covid- 19 restrictions are in place, we may be asked by the Memorial Hall Committee to supply them with the names and contact details of people who attended a particular film showing in order to enable “test and trace”. We will notify you if we have to do this; but we cannot accept responsibility for any issues arising in connection with the Memorial hall Committee’s use of your data.

We may share non-personal aggregate statistical data about people who attend our films for analysis and for reporting to film distributors.

When you view our website, we may store the name of that web page for the purposes of internal administration and analysis.

We may communicate with you by email or by post to inform you about the films that we plan to show. Where we communicate with you by email as a member of a group, we will bcc you so that your email is not visible to others.

We may communicate with you by telephone only in circumstances when communication by email or post may not be sufficiently timely, for instance in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a film at short notice.

We have a presence on twitter to promote Film on Friday and the films we show. Please note that the operation of such social media platforms is not under our control. Your rights
